Annie May is an all steel, 50′ trad style narrowboat built in 1988 by the well respected Mike Heywood. Propulsion is provided by a 42hp Vetus M4.45 Diesel engine with twin alternators and a PRM150 gearbox. This engine was fitted new approx 3 years ago.
Entering the vessel from the stern you step into a bedroom area very similar to a boatmans cabin. On either side are berths under which can be found a good amount of storage space. Further storage can be found in several cupboards including a pair which are floor to ceiling.
Moving forward takes you in to the engine area, a layout like this giving easy access to the engine for maintenance. This engine room also houses a 1000w inverter, battery charger and electric switch panels.
This then leads into a corridor, off of which can be found the bathroom. The bathroom is equipped with a pump out toilet, handbasin, small bath with shower over and ample storage space.
The galley includes several low and high level storage cupboards and shelving, freestanding gas oven/grill & 4 burner hob, 12v fridge, sink/drainer and ample worktop space.
At the front of the cabin is the saloon with bed settee, drop-leaf table, solid fuel stove and storage cupboards.
This then leads out on to a large front well deck with seating and table.
Annie May is on site at Wincham Wharf, please call or email for more information or to arrange a viewing.
